Insurance Operations Manager
What will you do?
- Design and implement policies and SOPs related to insurance claims processing address complex claims queries and escalations coming in from members
- Handle queries/escalations from internal & partners
- Define, track and improve ops metrics
- Monitor, investigate all the rejected and withdrawn cases to improve the customer experience
- Liaise with relevant internal teams/POCs from a product standpoint and provide timely resolution/support to the team to remove roadblocks or possible customer escalations
- Motivate, guide and groom team members to improve productivity, quality and overall efficiency
- Proactively identify process risks and implement action plans to address them
- Focus on customer experience at all times and inspire the team to do so as well
- Leverage technology as well as internal and external product solutions to achieve the scale through automation and defect elimination
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders across customer support, tech, product, business, risk, compliance, legal
You should apply if you have :
- 5+ years of experience in managing insurance claims processing
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing 10-15 team members
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with all stakeholders
- Ability to present ideas and solutions in a clear and concise manner
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Have an eye for detail and can multi-task effectively in a demanding environment
