Location - Gujarat (Dahej Plant)

Identification of automation opportunities

- Idea Generation: Identify ideas related to various plant functions (manufacturing, technical, quality, engineering, safety, commercial, HR and Admin.) and processes for identifying potential automation opportunities

- Funneling of Ideas: Developing ideas for industrial automation and integration with software automation using IT applications and digital solutions

- Communication of ideas with stakeholders for preliminary approval.

Automation Project planning and preparation

- Work with business stakeholders to create business charter for approved ideas

- Identify project deliverables and benefits

- Prepare project budget and estimate - Hardware, Software with plant engineering

- Project submission and capex approval

- Vendor assessment and finalization

Automation Project implementation and roll-outs

- Drive and lead on ground project with in plant teams

- Work with project sponsors and team members for successful execution

- Identify project milestones, risks and mitigation steps

- Share project updates and communication

- Min. 5 years- experience in plant IT with medium Manufacturing Company or IT consulting company to manufacturing plant

- Experience in SAP - PP and QM module (MM advantage)

- User or super user level experience of Manufacturing systems/ Manufacturing Execution, - Traceability, Scheduling, etc.

- Experience of working with PLC, Robotics Automation.

- Knowledge of Digital Technology (2D, 3D Barcodes, QR codes, readers, printers, scanners, RFID)

- Good communication skills.
