Core Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning & Implementation:


- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's overall business objectives.

- Identify and assess the organization's IT needs and recommend solutions.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

IT Infrastructure Management:

- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and

hardware.

- Ensure the security and reliability of IT systems and data.

- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Project Management:

- Lead and manage IT projects, from planning and execution to completion.

- Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets.

- Monitor project progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Staff Management:

- Hire, train, and supervise IT staff.

- Provide guidance and support to IT team members.

- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.

Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the IT budget.

- Monitor IT spending and ensure cost-effectiveness.

- Negotiate contracts with IT vendors.

Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:

- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues quickly and efficiently.

- Develop and implement solutions to improve IT performance and reliability.

- Ensure that IT systems are operating at peak performance.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs.

- Communicate IT issues and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

- Build strong relationships with IT vendors and partners.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networks, and security.


Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex IT problems.

Project Management Skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage IT projects.

Budgeting Skills: Ability to develop and manage an IT budget.

Experience: Typically requires a bachelor's/master's degree in computer science or a related field, and several years of experience in IT.
