Manager - Industry Research - BFSI Sector - Indian Markets

Job Description :

- Manager in Analytical role with some understanding of the Indian BFSI space

TOTAL 5+ Yrs of exp.. Around 3-4 years of experience and who has good insights and knowledge on the Indian BFSI space

Preferred background - Working in the BFSI domain with consulting firms, strategy and planning team of banks, sell-side tracking the BFSI sector

- Industry research - covering either standard products or customized assignments

Analysis of industry dynamics from all relevant angles (demand-supply, profitability, investments, regulation competitive landscape etc.)

Ability to forecast and provide outlook on above key parameters

- Customised assignments covering demand assessment, market entry/product strategy, business planning support, feasibility analysis, and competitive benchmarking

Demand forecasting models based on qualitative and, when appropriate, statistical analysis

- Extensive secondary and primary research for obtaining relevant inputs

Ability to independently undertake intensive interactions with market participants for sourcing critical information

Willingness to travel for industry interaction and build network of sources in critical areas

- Ability to form hypothesis, validate assumptions, test based on data gathered and write a cogent and logical report

- To showcase work and deliver presentations to clients and internal committees

- Support to Senior Manager/Director in making presentations to clients and at seminars/conferences, etc.

- Author and publish articles to showcase thought-leadership and build franchise for the business

- Strong analytical skills with good awareness about Indian economy and business environment

- Aptitude for business research/consulting

- Ability to think out of the box and come out with innovative solutions/ideas

- Ability to structure and write high-quality reports

- Strong ppt and excel skills

- Understanding of basic statistical techniques

- Excellent oral communication and presentation skills

- Positive attitude and ability to work across teams within tight deadlines
