Education: Law Graduate.
Experience: Minimum 8 years in IR & ER.
- To lead the employee relations function for one of the Company Strategic Site i.e. Roha and responsible for implementing personnel policies for bargain able staff and maintain harmonious employee relations.
Essential Function 1: Develop and implement policies with a regard to:
- Recruitment of bargain able staff, engagement of Apprentices.
- Employee Relations Management : Adhere to Company's procedure for grievance handling, trouble shooting, maintenance of discipline, productivity etc.
- Labour Administration : Direct, monitor activities of employee relations department. and time office to ensure up to date maintenance of personnel records of bargain able staff, timely and accurate administration of pay roll etc.
- Long Term Settlement ; Regularly interact with Union leaders, during long term settlement at all sites. Department heads to improve labour productivity.
Essential Function 2: Employee Relations and Statutory Compliance
- Employee Relations: Maintain harmonious relations with Union and take adequate measures to avoid recurrence of labour problems.
- Labour Administration : Coordinate and control performance review and recommendations for promotions.
- Compliance of Labour Laws : Maintain close contact / interaction with Govt. authorities and guide Site HR Manager to comply with various labour legislations.
- Employee Development: Plan and organize training programs for bargain able staff to enhance productivity.
Essential Function 3: People Management & Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with all departmental heads and bargain able staff w.r.t. all day to day employee relations matters.
- To hold regular meetings / correspondence with Company's lawyers in legal matters and maintain good relations with Govt. authorities.
Essential Function 4: Project Management
- Secure the development and implementation of specific projects in Employee Relations such as downsizing, mass transfers etc.
- Develop effective data base for bargain able staff with regard to personnel, legal matters, statutory compliance etc.
- Ensure technology upgrade in all labour administration processes.
