Manager - IR @ New Delhi, India  Our client is a well known name in IT and outsourced services and they are looking at a proven Industrial Relations manager who has done couple of settlements with unionised workers.  Position: Manager - IR  Education: Post Graduate in Personnel Management / HR & Diploma in Labour laws and Labour welfare  Experience: 12 - 14 years of IR exposure and handling of unionised workers successfully  Location: New Delhi  Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience  Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile:  - As the IR Manager for the region, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Corporate HR in overall business objectives in the areas of Union/Labor relations, employee relations, training and development, compensation & benefits.   - Plan the overall IR strategy to deliver business results for approximately 800 employees out of which 90% are Blue Collared employees. Manage the statutory compliances, labor laws, develop avenues to handle grievances and drive awareness for the same among the business heads.  - Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills & negotiation skills, have developed contacts & ability to liaison with statutory and government bodies.   - Desired candidate should possess excellent domain knowledge in labour laws / statutory compliances. Exposure to wage settlements, VRS, successfully managing strikes will be mandatory. Exposure to working in Delhi & surrounding areas will be a distinct advantage.   - Exposure to working on an ERP System. Ability to handle complex IR issues, having exposure of handling strong multiple unions & union issues.   - Experience in handling Labour problems and matters related to VRS. Manage disciplinary proceedings in Conciliation with Labour dept. Should be able to understand the nerve of workmen & ensure a peaceful industrial relations climate.  - Skilled at Crisis management - Labour unrest. Ability to closely monitor union activities for smooth running of the organization.   - Knowledge and exposure in handling local bodies and Statutory authorities in & around Delhi. Exposure in handling domestic inquiries and workmen grievances.   - Ability to initiate measures and programs to improve employee engagement and satisfaction. In-depth knowledge of Wage and salary administration.   - Exposure to handle time office function. Hands on experience in Variable pay linked wage settlements.
