ROLE OVERVIEW/ PURPOSE:

The incumbent is expected to develop and implement comprehensive industrial relations strategies to maintain a harmonious work environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws, regulations and statutory requirements applicable to India Formulation and its allied sales offices. Act as a liaison between Management and employees to address and resolve any workplace issues

OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities:

@ Draft and administer various letters e.g. Show cause, Termination, reply to legal notices ensuring fairness and adherence to legal standards.

@ Conduct regular assessments of labour practices to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.

@ Collaborate with Business and HR business partners to implement ER policies and promote employee engagement with a view to have minimal business disruption.

@ Represent the company in discussions with labour unions, government agencies, labour courts and other stakeholders as per guidance of Cluster HR Head.

@ Ensure and do timely compliances for all Sales offices for all applicable labour laws including returns, renewals of licenses, registers for on roll and contract employees.

@ Stay updated on changes in labour laws & regulations, providing guidance to leadership on necessary adjustments

@ Oversee grievance resolution processes and work towards minimising disputes within the organisation.

@ Conduct training sessions to educate employees and management on labour laws and compliance requirements.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

Educational Qualifications: MSW / MBA in HR from a reputed Institute

Experience: 8 - 12 years of experience in HR managing similar role

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical):

@ Understanding of Sales Promotion Act. Implication and limitations

@ Expert in compliance related to labour laws

@ Strong negotiation skills

@ Experience of attending court matters and dealing with unrecognised unions

@ Adept in maintaining employee relations

@ Familiarity to FMARI and similar organisation across India

@ Strong stakeholder management skills

@ Business acumen

@ Problem solving approach and conflict resolution

Behavioural Attributes:

@ Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills

@ Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
