Manager - Indirect Taxation - FMCG/Mfg

Looking for a Manager-Indirect Taxation for a Leading Organization based at Mumbai.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Drafting replies to notices,drafting appeals and submissions.

2. Guiding manufacturing locations/ Units locations on VAT, Excise & Service Tax on regular basis.

3. Supporting Unit level resources in handling VAT, excise/ service tax audits.

4. Handling litigations and appearance before adjudication and appellate authorities.

5. Develop standard processes under Indirect taxation and ensure implementation at the Unit level.

6. Carry out regular health check exercise at the Unit Level to ensure high levels of compliance and documentation.

7. Handling/familiarity with issues relating to VAT, excise, service tax, FTP (EOU related) for operational activities like payment of tax, filing of returns, managing various declaration forms, etc.
