Manager - Indirect Taxation

JD:

- Responsible for overall management of Indirect Tax Compliance, Planning, Litigation, Partnering with Business, Audit and Assessments, etc.

- Represent the Company before various authorities, prepare replies to SCNs, Appeals, stay applications etc.

Key Responsibilities.:

- Review and advise on indirect tax compliance issues as necessary, including systems audits, systems design and implementation, and process streamlining.

- Manage country and product-specific VAT/GST issues.

- Manage global and regional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

- Provide training to relevant teams on indirect tax issues.

- Liaise globally with Tax authorities for submission of returns and follow up queries.

- Indirect Tax activities required by corporate directives and policies.

- Indirect Tax review and approval for assigned countries.

- Supervision and support of the employees of External Service Provider in the area of VAT.

- Cooperation with external and internal counter parties within VAT function.

- The free of charge disposal for VAT purposes.

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA with 2-3 Years and having experience in Indian VAT, Entry Tax/Octroi, Service Tax and Central Excise Tax and other indirect tax issues - working with tax authorities and outside advisers as necessary - as part of a global tax team.

2. Providing / developing end-to-end tax requirements for projects and business initiatives, the candidate will work closely with the other tax teams to scope these requirements.

3. Developing and evaluating Indian VAT, Entry Tax/Octroi, Service Tax and Central Excise Tax and other indirect tax planning opportunities and strategies.

4. Assisting with managing, coordinating and reviewing Indian tax compliance for all indirect taxes.

5. Advanced knowledge of Excise, Service Tax and VAT.
