About our Client : Our client is a leading manufacturer of power supplies, electronics peripherals and data center products. With over 30+ years of experience and growth - they have operations all around the world. For their India operations they are looking for an Indirect Tax Manager to be based at their Baroda Plant.

Job Description : As a Manager ( Indirect Tax), you will be responsible for:

- Responsible for supporting the financial controller on indirect tax (Indirect tax-Excise, VAT, Service tax, CST, customs laws)

- Maintaining all records, accounting, filing and interacting with the relevant departments, either directly or through consultants

- Accounting hygiene and review of schedules pertaining to indirect taxes

- Assist and manage litigation while partnering with external consultants and lawyers.

- Delivering projects relating to area of indirect taxes

- Actively participating in initiatives which result from changes in process or changes in environment in the area of indirect taxes

- Working closely with building preparedness for the company's position in the event of any proceedings, litigations or such association Completion of Excise and VAT- business Audits

The Successful Candidate:

- You are a Indirect Tax expert with either an Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, CA Inter, MCom, CA with atleast 10 years of experience.

- You should have good knowledge in working with regulators and government authorities.

- Strong knowledge of VAT, Excise, Service Tax & Customs is imperative.

- Individuals with good knowledge of working with ERP systems would be preferred
