About our Client: Our client is a world leader of technology and industrial solutions. They are a Fortune 500 MNC headquartered in the U.S, they are looking for a Indirect Manager for their business in Mumbai

Job Description: As a Manager - Indirect Tax, you will be responsible for:

- Responsible for supporting the financial controller on indirect tax (Indirect tax-Excise, VAT, Service tax, CST, customs laws)

- Maintaining all records, accounting, filing and interacting with the relevant departments, either directly or through consultants

- Accounting hygiene and review of schedules pertaining to indirect taxes

- Working closely with consultants pertaining on matters related to indirect taxes as they relate to the company Delivering projects relating to area of indirect taxes

- Actively participating in initiatives which result from changes in process or changes in environment in the area of indirect taxes

- Working closely with building preparedness for the company's position in the event of any proceedings, litigations or such association

- Completion of Excise and VAT- business Audits

The Successful Candidate:

- Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance

- At least 8 years of taxation experience

- Possess management experience

- ERP systems knowledge ( including SAP R/3 & Oracle) is strongly preferred

- Hyperion knowledge (Enterprise/HFM) is strongly preferred

- Excellent oral and written communications, organization and planning skills
