Manager - Indirect Tax - FMCG

Manager - Indirect Tax (East) with a leading FMCG Company

- This position is responsible for the Company's indirect tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for various indirect taxes for East region.

- S/He works with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities.

- He or she will work with regional financial controller within the Company and third party service providers. This position will also be COE for customs matter.

Note : Indirect tax for alcohol is 'state subject' and deals with 30 states 02-06 years' experience in indirect taxes profile in consulting and industry

- Audit experience during articleship

- Technical knowledge of Customs, GST, State VAT, State excise Acts

- Execution excellence

- Influence and engage ; Relationship Building & Interpersonal Awareness

- Exposure to complex business environments

- Experience of working in a matrix organisation

- Risk management and controls, budgeting, financial analysis

- Group and local financial reporting

- Worked extensively with tax counsels and consulting firms
