Roles & Responsibilities:

- Handling assessments, audits and tax litigations.

- Coordinate with external consultants and tax authorities with respect to tax assessments and litigations.

- Handling the appellate matters with support of consultants.

- Drafting replies to show cause notices, attending personal hearing, representing before the judicial authorities till assessments level.

- Keeping a track of all appeals and litigation ensuring closure of the same in favor of the company.

- Research on various critical litigative issues.

- Preparation, filing and processing of GST refund.

- Preparation of monthly MIS on litigation matters, GST refunds, Audits, Assessments and Appeals.

- Advising business on indirect tax implications on various transactions.

- Leading the changes in system as a result of amendment or decision to take different tax position.

- Periodic review of tax logics.

Ideal candidate:

- Chartered Accountant with 1-2 years' experience in Indirect Tax

- Work experience in multinational company or in tax advisory sector

- Effective communication and social skills

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership and a strong affinity in tax and accounting proficiencies.

- Being a teammate and being able to collaborate well with other functions as One Team

- Ability to initiate, own and lead projects, and implement assignments in tight timelines, taking end to end accountability
