Role Responsibilities :

- Leads Strategic Sourcing initiatives across categories from time to time.

- Partner with Market stakeholders to identify solutions with best total value mindset to fit business needs.

- Drive cost reduction in sustainable and holistic way.

- Drive competitive payment terms to increase

- Negotiates contracts with suppliers and facilitates legal review/support.

- Develop and maintain supplier performance review metrics & scorecards

- Align with key stakeholders in the market and form a long-term sustainable sourcing strategy and priorities.

- Develops and manages sound supplier relationship with key suppliers

- Identify on-going savings opportunities and execute with excellence.

- Support myBuy/Ariba Program implementation and change management collaborating with Finance, Project team and other key stakeholders

- Partners with country controller on Policy Compliance and drive new business model or customize model to improve process efficiency and productivity.

- Drive utilization of Global Indirect Sourcing Tools and Process: Ariba, eRFPs, Contract Database, 7-step Sourcing Process, Savings tracking and reporting, etc

- Work closely with global category managers and regional teams to develop and deploy category and regional programs.

Role Requirements :

- At least 12-15 years of experience in Indirect sourcing or procurement-related activities/roles at recognizable organizations. Background in medical devices, biotech, pharmaceutical or similar would be preferred

- At least 3-5 years of experience in managing functional head role for India, candidates with multi country sourcing experience will be preferred

- A graduate degree or above in a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, MS in Supply Chain) or professional certification (e.g., C.P.M., F.M.P. or C.F.M.) is desired.

- Demonstrated ability to positively influence key stakeholders, strong capability to manage ambiguity and drive alignment to strategy.

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills including oral, written, and listening skills with a track record of communicating complex concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff, including senior executive levels

- Excellent presentation and strong analytic skills. Fluency in spoken and written English required; other language skills are a plus.

- Strong project management skills, effective negotiation skills. Possess RFP execution, contract writing and data analysis skills

- Has profound knowledge in ERP system, such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa etc.

- Proactive, enjoys working in a fast paced and challenging environment, results- oriented and a team player. Some travel may be required in this role. This role will be based in India.
