The individual will be involved in extensive procurement of services in Marketing (excluding media buying) for India businesses.
- Evaluate project costs in the marketing domains of creative services, merchandising, marketing technology, events, consumer research, PR and other marketing activities
- Work with the business partners to carve out most effective deal structures/vendor selections/rate cards and other terms to ensure sustainable and smooth project execution
- Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations with vendors on cost and other commercial terms following Strategic Sourcing process
- Collaborate with Operations team, Legal team, Finance and tax team to ensure timely execution of agreements
- Be aware of market trends and conditions in the Marketing domain and understand how these affect vendors, cost of services, pricing, and the resulting impact to business
- Provide rigorous cost and market analysis following models established by Sourcing focusing on total cost
- Analyse spend data to arrive at actionable insights and drive category level sourcing strategies
- Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of current industry best practices and continuously improve professional skills and technical expertise
- Interact with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Ensure compliance, cost savings and performance measures are established, tracked and achieved
- Build/establish strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Work with finance and business teams to have an annual and long term plans and strategy for the requisite Marketing sub-category in India
Experience and Qualification - Graduate/Post graduate degree, preferred in management
