Manager - IFRS - Insurance Sector

Job Description:

Knowledge and Skills Requirements :

Knowledge of IFRS/US/UK GAAP. Strong IFRS background is required - some of the important areas are IFRS-1 (IFRS conversion/first time adoption); IFRS-9; IFRS-15; leasing; insurance etc.

- Working experience in relation to the following services/solutions : GAAP conversions and implementation of IFRS Drafting and designing accounting policies Technical accounting research and advice (IFRS) Transaction accounting and reporting, consolidation and compilation support, financial statement close process support Advisory related experiences - various: policies and procedures; record to report; consolidations; ERPs; Finance best practices and bench marking; finance transformation; shared services and business case development. Training content development - approach/methodology - familiarity with Firm's QRM and branding protocols

- International work experience will have added advantage Prior Big-4 firms experience preferred

Technical skills requirements

- Knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP and auditing standards is an advantage

- Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation and presentation Skills

- Project management skills

- Excellent communication skills including speaking and writing effectively in English

- Ability to spread positive work culture and live company values

- The ability to quickly form strong working relationship with colleagues in India and around the world.
