Manager - Human Resources
Strategic:
- Design and execute a comprehensive global human resource strategy aligned with the organization's mission, ensuring the adoption of innovative best practices and policies that foster a high-performing culture of agency, accountability, and collaboration. This includes strategically partnering with vendors to maintain lean program capacities.
- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership by deeply understanding organizational dynamics, acting as the voice of employees, and offering innovative solutions to critical HR challenges.
Culture and Development:
- Champion a culture emphasizing openness, agency, continuous learning, public service, and a growth mindset.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to colleagues and managers, building leadership capability to meet the challenges of a dynamic organization.
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and equitably.
- Establish principles, practices, and rituals that strengthen the organizational culture.
- Promote active engagement and participation among employees.
Talent and Engagement:
- Develop an employment brand and talent acquisition strategy to attract global talent.
- Provide strategic advice on people programs and processes to enhance talent attraction, retention, and development. Design and implement initiatives to improve employee onboarding, development, and retention.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- MBA or equivalent degree in HR, with 3-8 years of experience (non-profit experience is a plus).
- Extensive knowledge of HR functions with proven experience as an HR Business Partner supporting executives or senior leadership.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse global audiences.
- Results-oriented, agile change agent with the confidence and commitment to lead in a complex and evolving environment.
- Unwavering personal integrity, fairness, and credibility to earn trust and commitment across all organizational levels.
