Job Summary:

- We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager - HR to lead and manage comprehensive HR functions within our large-scale manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai.

- This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing salary structuring, payroll, industrial relations, compliance, and employee relations for a substantial workforce of 6,000 to 10,000 employees.

- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR practices within a manufacturing environment and demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Compensation & Benefits Management:

- Develop and manage competitive salary structures, incentive programs, and payroll processes for factory employees.

- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, adhering to all statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, tax regulations).

- Collaborate with finance and senior leadership to design, implement, and optimize compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.

- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure compensation packages remain competitive.

Industrial Relations & Compliance:

- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable labor laws, industrial relations regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Manage union relations, handle grievances, and resolve disciplinary issues in partnership with legal teams.

- Develop and implement proactive strategies to foster a positive and harmonious work environment, minimizing industrial disputes.

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

HR Operations & Employee Relations:

- Oversee end-to-end HR operations for the factory and plant corporate functions, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, productivity, and retention.

- Drive the implementation of HR policies, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development programs.

- Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting:

- Partner with senior leadership, factory heads, and cross-functional teams to align HR strategies with business objectives.

- Prepare and deliver comprehensive presentations to global stakeholders on HR policies, workforce analytics, and compliance matters.

- Generate insightful HR reports using advanced Excel skills and data visualization tools to support decision-making.

- Provide regular updates on HR metrics and trends to senior management.

Candidate Requirements:

Experience: 8 to 12 years of progressive HR experience within a large-scale manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on industrial relations and compliance.

Expertise: Proven expertise in payroll management, compensation structuring, and workforce administration.

Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of labor laws, industrial relations practices, and employee welfare programs.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with leadership and stakeholders.

Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and generating insights.

Presentation Skills: Experience in creating and delivering compelling presentations using PowerPoint.

Education: A relevant post graduate degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a large, unionized manufacturing environment.

- Certification in labor law or industrial relations.

- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS).
