Job Summary:
A leading financial institution based in Thrissur, Kerala, is seeking an experienced Manager - HR to lead its people function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing talent acquisition, employee engagement, and overall HR operations to foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead recruitment efforts for both corporate and branch-level staff across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
- Manage 80% branch-level hiring, including Branch Managers, Sales Executives, Customer Relationship Executives, and Collection & Recovery Executives.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Handle end-to-end hiring processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build a strong employer brand to attract quality candidates.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Design and execute employee engagement initiatives to enhance workplace satisfaction.
- Conduct surveys, feedback sessions, and HR interventions to improve employee morale.
- Implement recognition and reward programs to boost motivation.
HR Policies & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Update and communicate HR policies to employees regularly.
Performance Management & Development:
- Oversee the performance appraisal process and assist in employee development plans.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs for skill enhancement.
HR Operations & Administration:
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Address employee grievances and mediate conflicts effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 6 to 8 years in HR with a strong focus on talent acquisition and employee engagement.
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or a related field.
- Language: Must be fluent in Malayalam and English.
- Industry: Experience in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services,) preferred.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with employees and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office tools.
