Job Description: Manager - Human Resources

Qualification: MBA in Human Resources or related field.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in the Apparel Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute manpower planning and budgeting strategies to align with business objectives.

- Implement HR strategies in line with the annual business plan and organizational goals.

- Lead talent management initiatives, including recruitment, retention, and succession planning.

- Drive organizational development and performance management processes to enhance workforce effectiveness.

- Oversee compensation and benefits administration to ensure market competitiveness and compliance.

- Ensure statutory and labor law compliance, handling legal and regulatory requirements effectively.

- Manage and resolve employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and workforce conflicts.

- Spearhead HR projects focused on cost control, attrition management, and workforce productivity analysis.

- Administer welfare activities in the plant to improve employee satisfaction and engagement.

- Design and execute training and development programs, including technical and skill-based learning initiatives.

- Maintain employee accommodation, canteen, transportation, and security operations to ensure a conducive work environment.

- Generate and analyze periodic MIS reports for informed decision-making.

- Act as the custodian of internal and external legal and statutory audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.

- Manage workforce contracts, including casual, contractual, and fixed-term workers, per labor laws and organizational policies.

- Lead sourcing and recruitment efforts to fulfill operator staffing needs.

- Oversee hostel facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for employees.

- Handle employee travel arrangements, including transportation and accommodations, for business purposes.

- Expertise in managing national and international standard licenses and audits for the organization.

Key Skills:

- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.

- Proficient in HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.

- Excellent communication skills in Tamil, Hindi, and English.

- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and grievance handling.

- Solid understanding of organizational development and performance management frameworks.

- Proficient in HRIS and reporting tools for MIS generation.

- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

- Leadership and team management capabilities for handling a workforce of 500+ employees.

- Ensure timely recruitment and onboarding of staff and operators.

- Maintain 100% compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations.
