These interconnection solutions make possible applications of avionics, jet and propulsion engine management, flight controls, grounding systems and on-board entertainment for today's "connected aircraft".

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Partner with Plant Business Lead to support the achievement of the operations footprint objectives of the BU.
- Build an organization that is ready for a major change and integration into a single integrated manufacturing operations facility.
- Take lead in recruitment efforts, manpower planning and on boarding processes and ensures alignment of staff with the company's strategic goals.
- Run Top Talent program as well as OLR and Calibration for the plant.
- Ensures identification of learning and development needs of employees and take initiative in organizing the same for BU.
- Ensures performance reviews and development actions of employees with management.
- Partner with the Centre of Excellence teams as well as the global teams to land various HR Programs and initiatives.
- Provides expertise on Key HR issues and ensures delivery of all central HR services on time.
- Proactively drive employee engagement and productivity as well as optimum utilization of resources.
- Interacts regularly with employees / shop floor supervisors to understand and address issues and handle employee grievances effectively.
- Ensure the implementation, administration, and compliance of Human Resources policies, programs and practices.
- Help employees to continuously sharpen the skill sets by bringing innovative HR interventions like education and or counselling employees on: Personality Development, Employee Re-skilling, multi skilling, Higher education so as to increase the employability of employees.
- Arrange a platform for effective performance management of plant employees by preparing plant managers to guide and coach employees
- Bring in a culture of continuous improvement in the plant with effective participation and contribution in TEOA activities
- Drive Employee Engagement initiatives in the plant to bring in change among employees for mutual benefits by leveraging each other strengths and capabilities
- Ensure cordial Employee Relations in the plant and implement wage agreements and settlements benefits from time to time
- Regular interaction with union office bearers by involving plant managers for maintaining harmonious Industrial Relations
- Active participation and support to lead wage negotiations with union
- Ensure 100% compliance with all labor laws and manage risks related to labor employment
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE :
- Master's Degree in Industrial Psychology, Human Resource Management and or Social Welfare
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE :
- 8 - 10 years of experience working in medium or large manufacturing/engineering companies with at least 2 years working with leadership level in consultative and partnering basis
- Experience of advising managers on range of people matters such as discipline, grievance, recruitment, performance and development.
- Experience of working with middle management and senior management.
- Experience of working in standalone role.
- Experience of implementing new initiatives
- Experience of using HR software /Database
