Overview:
- The Human Resource Manager plays a crucial role in the organization by overseeing all aspects of human resources and ensuring the overall well-being of employees.
- They are responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the organization's objectives and foster a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives consistent with the organization's overall mission and vision.
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary issues, and grievance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and update company policies as necessary.
- Manage and administer employee benefits programs and liaise with insurance providers.
- Conduct training needs analysis and develop and deliver training programs for employees and managers.
- Manage and maintain HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Lead performance management processes and provide support to managers and employees in goal setting and performance improvement.
- Develop and implement employee retention strategies to promote a positive work environment and reduce turnover.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
- Participate in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
- Implement and monitor adherence to HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and oversee departmental operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems and their effective utilization.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management.
- Thorough understanding of compensation and benefits programs and administration.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP or SPHR is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software; experience with HRIS implementation is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
