HR Manager - Projects

This role is for a Fortune 1, India.

Short Description :

- Under the supervision of a strategic taskforce, this role is responsible to drive few critical projects on people policies & processes as prioritised to improve organisation effectiveness and employee experience at RIL. The incumbent may drive few projects directly through a team of 7-8 people & may also be required to collaborate on few projects with other HR Leads. The role would require end to end capabilities from design, develop & implement scope across - Hire-to-Retire- value chain with a strong interface with technology.

Long Description :

Job Accountabilities :

- Responsible for the successful project initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects under Hire to retire process flow for Hydrocarbons business at RIL

- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders

- Develop detailed project plans and associated communications documents

- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

- Predict and manage change impact, quantify gains to ensure a smooth and event free transformation

- Make presentations & deliver in meetings with the key stakeholders including the HRLT team, Business heads.

- Facilitate cross-pollination of ideas/ expertise across various project teams

- Ensure adherence to project timelines, reporting requirements and project control norms

- Publish regular monitoring and governance dashboards

- Lead 2 - 3 project sub teams and liaise with various HR functional teams and other cross-functional teams

Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills) :

- Project management expertise to ensure timely delivery - Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

- Should have led HR or IT organization wide projects

- Good exposure in projects related to HR processes and creating HR solutions as per organizational needs

- Strong drive to guide each project & team to a successful completion

- Proven experience in the ability to build trusting relationship with peers, the broader operations community and other stakeholders

- Stakeholder management across businesses and functions

- Change management to assess impact and quantify gains for a smooth transformation

- Good communication skills - written & verbal

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications) :

- 10 - 15 years of experience post MBA in direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution

- Project Management Program (PMP) Certification desired

- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
