RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The HR Leader role provides overall HR leadership to the GES located in India.
- The successful candidate will partner with and support key business leaders located in India and drive pan India initiatives
- The incumbent is expected to provide a broad range of strategic HR support for achieving business objectives, including talent management (assessment, acquisition, development and redeployment), organizational effectiveness (change management, leader effectiveness, organization design), and employee engagement (communications, employee relations, facilitation of rewards and recognition, employee involvement).
- The HR Leader will work closely with the CoE's and global business HRM's to drive HR needs across India.
- Provide business partnership and HR leadership to Business Operations leadership and their respective leadership teams.
- Coordinate and drive global processes as well as process improvements and transition works
- Lead an HR team consisting of approximately 3-4 direct/matrix reports
- Lead core HR processes across respective client groups : HPD, GCP, MRR
- Provide stewardship for key talent and foster diversity
- Enable the client groups to deliver their AOP and people metrics
Position may require up to 25% travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
- Masters in HR or business management, specialization in HR, Labor Relations, Organization Development, Learning, and related disciplines preferred. Prior experience in country/regional HR leadership or senior management roles. Experience in working with HR consulting firms is preferred but not essential.
- Qualification in any discipline of Engineering or Statistics at undergraduate level is highly desirable.
- 8 + years of progressive related work experience in an HR-related capacity
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
- Experience working in an HR Generalist capacity within a global environment in a highly matrix structure
- Proven Leadership of cross-geographic teams preferred
- Strong business acumen / partnering approach, problem solving, analytical ability and decision making
- Motivated self-starter with initiative; proactive in identifying issues along with areas for improvement
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to communicate virtually, to multiple functions, cultures and to different levels of management
- Ability to develop strong partnership / teambuilding relationships
- Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills
