Human Resource Manager (Hydro - Corporate)

- Responsible for the planning & execution of the day-to-day activities of the Human Resource department & employees. Leads & coordinates HR functions/activities and implements people processes and procedures that help achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plant Lead Team member; initiate strategic and tactical solutions to support plant and corporate initiatives

- Enforce compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations and laws

- Provide management, direction and support for the HR and Payroll team members

- People development: identify and develop leaders through mentoring, coaching and training

- Assess, develop and implement training activities such as legal compliance, team building and department specific training; implement corporate trainings

- Work collaboratively with managers to address performance concerns such as absenteeism, policy violation and behavioral concerns

- Labor relations management including foster positive working relations with union leaders, negotiate the collective bargaining agreement, address employee concerns, process grievance, participate in Boards of Adjustment and represent the company during arbitrations

i. MBA in Human Resources with 7 - 10 years of HR generalist experience including in a union and manufacturing environment. Significant experience in a multi-facility HR role is preferred

ii. Must have intermediate math skills, ability to use a calculator

iii. Must be able to work cohesively in a team environment

iv. Must be able to read and comprehend policies, quality management system procedures and other plant procedures

v. Must be able to use computer programs and software such as MS Office and HRIS
