Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent for various positions within the organization.
- Coordinate the entire recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Employee Relations:Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Promote a positive work environment and company culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
- Performance Management:Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
- Train and guide managers in conducting effective performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
- Identify and address performance gaps and develop performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Compensation and Benefits:Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary and benefit structures.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Training and Development:Assess training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions on topics such as compliance, leadership development, and employee development.
- Monitor training effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
- HR Policies and Procedures:Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure HR policies are communicated effectively to employees and consistently applied throughout the organization.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and emerging trends in the healthcare and publishing industries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 plus years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the healthcare or publishing industry.
- Solid knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and training and development.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
