The Human Resource (HR) Manager will be responsible for managing India's recruitment at all levels,onboarding of new hires, facilitating the professional development of employees, tracking and management of employees- satisfaction and other human resource related functions of the organization. Looking for a dynamic and reliable HR Manager with relevant experience to grow with the organization as the organisation expands operations in India and across other parts of Asia. These activities will be managed in coordination with and support from Global Operations team.

Report to and manage:

The position will mainly report to the India Regional Director and work with Senior Managers based out of India.

The position will also work the global Chief Operating Officer, Global Finance Director, and Global Operations team.

Responsibilities:

The HR manager's responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

Recruitment:

- Coordinate hiring at all levels of the organisation.

- Organize and accompany organisations employees to visits to universities to speak about the organisation

- Identify new networks within which to circulate job opportunities, and support outreach within existing networks (employee alumni networks);

- Target new pools of applicants (new universities, programmes, disciplines);

- Identify optimal timing and periodicity for university visits and circulation of opportunities;

- Explore relationships between recruitment, staff diversity and team performance; and Internal capacity building

- Coordinate preparation of training materials with internal and external experts in each topic

- Conduct and arrange training sessions on appropriate topics based on discussion and consultation with managers;

- Plan and execute onboarding boot camps for new hires;

- Track performance review process and professional development

Employee and team satisfaction:

- Conduct regular feedback sessions to track employees- professional development and their job satisfaction level;

- Guide leadership on employee satisfaction levels, performance levels, professional development levels,with recommendations and support on how to improve; Managing organization protocols and internal processes

- Ensure implementation of people-related protocols on safety protocol, sexual misconduct, emergencies;

- Tracking leave, supporting finance team with timesheets and payroll processes, respond to queries on fringe/benefits;

- Manage operations of hiring and promotion

Qualifications:

- Masters in Human Resource Management, Organizational Management, or other relevant areas;

- 4 to 6 years relevant work experience. Relevant professional experience with other top international consulting/ research organizations desirable;

Skills and attributes:

Ability to translate organisations culture and values into effective HR practices and processes

Possess honesty, integrity, strong work ethic, and team skills;

Ability to lead and take ownership and initiative, with minimal supervision;

Strong problem solving and communication abilities;

Is organized and efficient;

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Excited by and open to new ideas and new ways of doing things;

Willingness to take on additional areas of responsibility; take on tasks at short notice.
