This disruptive startup was founded in the Singapore over a year ago by 2 veterans of the real estate & Hospitality domain who collectively have more than 2 decades of experience and have worked with brands like JLL, KPMG, EY, Marriot etc.
The company has been backed by marquee VCs including 500 Startups and is on track to a series A funding. They cater to the top end of the student living market and already offer premium student housing facilities for top universities in Asia including National University of Singapore, Singapore Management University, and INSEAD Business School.
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a broad generalist service, whilst addressing employee engagement and training, driving HR strategies and policies, and building a HR model and culture in the organisation.
What you will do :
- Ensuring a smooth and structured on boarding and induction process
- Ensuring to partner with HR operations to address employee grievances
- Conducting regular meetings with employees
- Ensuring consistent and effective HR communication across HO and other offices
- Designing and executing most effective employee engagement initiatives and training workshops
- Conducting Training Need Analysis and partnering with different stakeholders internally or externally to execute training programs
- Working closely with middle management to facilitate various change management initiatives
- Facilitating talent development actions
- Collaborating with HR head and other managers on all the engagement and training initiatives
- Researching emerging trends on HR practices
- Collaborating with various geographical offices to introduce consistency in HR practices
- Coordinating with employee representative forums and works councils
- Suggesting new HR strategies and helping to reshape, drive and establish the HR model and culture
Candidate Profile :
What you need to have :
- Demonstrable experience of 8+ years handling all facets of Employee Life Cycle
- Management, HR Audit Mechanisms and Statutory Frameworks
- Assertive with excellent communication skills
- Effective inter personal and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items
- Proven ability to influence decision making
- Deep passion for people and a strong instinct for managing and developing talent
