Manager (HR Payroll)
- Transform Payroll function to an automated function that has zero concerns/queries from employees and other stakeholders including Finance, Compliance, Legal, Auditors and Statutory bodies
- Lead the team to deliver timely and accurate payroll payouts for the organization
- Streamline and Automate On-roll and Off-roll payroll processing
- Manage Payroll Statutory Compliance (TDS, PF, PT, ESI, Gratuity etc.) from policy formation till filing of reports with statutory bodies
- Strategize and implement various new flexi benefits and tax benefits options for folks
- Manage ESOPs for the organization
- Establish proper accounting system of all paid amounts, unpaid dues, and accruals with supporting documents
- Create forecasts with statistical methods including variance analysis
- Perform Cost Analysis, identify area of cost savings and introduce relevant initiatives
- Liaise with Finance team to plan and lead long term financial planning process and to ensure all the transactions are accounted and reported accurately
- Publish a dashboard that provides financial insights in terms of payroll processing (Allowance, Benefits, Salary Cost, Incentives, Variable Pay etc.) to various business leaders at regular frequency
- Liaise with legal team and third-party vendors for smooth and compliant payroll process
- Drive internal audits and manage all external audits
- Manage all year end activities including Investment Proofs
- Coach and Mentor team members for their professional development
Qualification :
- An experienced Payroll professional who has hands-on experience in payroll processing for on-roll and off-roll folks and experience in leading Payroll function for the organization
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- A self-starter who is comfortable working in ambiguity; and can also work independently with little to minimal supervision.
- An individual with strong problem-solving as well as critical, logical and analytical thinking abilities
- An individual with outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to develop relationships and influence at multiple levels within the organization
- An individual who can successfully manage a high volume of work with multiple conflicting priorities
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
- Excellent technical and statutory knowledge
- Excellent knowledge in analytics
- Proficient in MS Excel and other analytical tools
- Knowledge on Greythr is an added advantage
- Bachelor's degree in finance is mandate. Related certifications in finance & accounting are an added advantage
