Manager - HR Operations
Objectives / purpose of the job:
A. Ensure smooth HR Operations through the life cycle of an employee using appropriate systems, processes and technologies
B. Align with and contribute to the organisational goals of client delight and employee happiness
C. Deliver outstanding internal customer service and smooth operations
D. Ensure flawless and efficient management of employee data and analysis providing insight to management decisions
E. Expertise in use of technologies, process improvements and operational efficiencies in reducing time, wastage and costs in HR Operations
Deliverables:
1. Run a series of processes and systems through the life cycle of an employee:
- Background verification
- Induction
- Onboarding
- Payroll (inputs)
- Leaves and attendance
- Employee requests
- Performance appraisals
- Employee data management
- Compensation cycles
- Exit processes
2. Team management - ensure right people in right jobs; happy and high performing team which learns from each other, has fungible skills, responds quickly to customer requests and integrates well within TM and the larger organization
3. Ensure employee tickets are resolved efficiently within assigned SLAs
4. Analyse tickets to suggest system improvements
5. Provide data and meet reporting requests from leadership and business accurately and quickly
Person Specifications :
Mandatory:
1. Years of experience - 12+
2. Managed a team of at least 10
3. Exposure to entire employee life cycle management and not just subsets
4. Data driven and analytical, high problem solving ability
5. Process improvement mindset
6. Extremely high stakeholder partnership, responsiveness and service mindset
Desirable:
1. High learnability
2. Right balance between maintaining and running with status quo versus change and adaptability
Ideal candidate will come from a tier 1 IT Services organization or a process-driven and mature people process company
