Job Title : Manager Human Resources (Employee Relations)

Reports to : Sr. Manager HR

Overall Job Purpose:

- The HR Manager will strategise and implement all key HR Policies and Processes. The individual will make proactive business contribution by working closely with the Sr. Manager HR, Business Leaders/Line Managers and the following SPC Stakeholders: Reward, Communication, Employee Relations, Operational Effectiveness, Organisational Development.

- The individual, while being a key member of Business and HR Team, will ensure that people end as and processes are at the core of operations planning and by ensuring that business challenges are fed back and actioned upon, with support from SPCs, wherever required, will deliver to the business agenda.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

- To lead and embed Capability Framework, ensuring that each employee is aligned to the desired guideline on behaviours as illustrated in Capability Framework.

- To have in depth understanding of local Industry knowledge of various HR Practices while designing and implementing HR Policies and Processes.

- To influence joint review of policies and processes in the designated area of responsibility from a business impact/relevance perspective and implement new HR policies and procedures within the business.

- To partner with designated SPC stakeholders to have a complete understanding of relevant company policies and processes to facilitate the company Integration.

- To act as a Change Agent, leading, supporting and contributing to change initiatives whilst driving towards desired organisational culture and supporting values.

- To implement the company Performance Management System ensuring dissemination of all related processes at each level.

- To drive behaviours by challenging inappropriate ones and coaching Managers and Team Leaders in driving excellence in people management issues.

- To champion all Staff engagement within the business unit.

- To strategize and facilitate institutionalisation of various Employee Engagement Forums at all levels.

- To formulate a Comprehensive Communication Strategy for the company in sync with UK.

- To lead Reward and Recognition strategy for the company to award excellence in Performance and demonstration of the company Values.

- To influence relevant stakeholders in making decisions consistent and relevant to the market.

- Ensure complete adherence to all statutory requirements and policies through regular audits.

- Compliance – To ensure that you understand and adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.

- Financial Controls – Ensure all expenditure commitments (orders, contracts, budgets etc) and all payments are properly authorised, controlled and monitored, in accordance with the company delegated authority requirements.

- Performance Management – To ensure the delivery of People Management and that all its processes and tools are fully utilised in managing your people.

Competence / Knowledge / Skills required:

- Broad generalist HR knowledge in designated areas of responsibility (in a previous generalist role or two specialist roles).

- Professional Education in the HR discipline – handling Grievances, Disciplinary cases

- People Facilitation – to achieve results.

- Knowledge of BU specifics (drivers and challenges) and business awareness across Business Unit.

- Strong influencing skills, to integrate/differentiate Global with Local Relevance Senior Manager level.

- Flexibility & adaptability.

- Relationship building.

- A strong track record of delivery to timescales.

- Project management skills and experience/skills with sponsoring projects.

- Coaching skills.

- Communication, presentation and networking skills.

- Independence, resilience and the ability to self motivate.

- Prioritisation and organisation skills.

- Problem identification and resolution.

- Team working and team development skills.

- The ability to quickly identify and understand the key drivers pertaining to the business implication on the business.

Years of Experience- Minimum 8 + yrs.
