Manager - Healthcare IPD Billing

- Lead and manage a team of IPD billing specialists, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to drive individual and team success.

- Oversee the entire IPD billing cycle, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines, accurate charge capture, and timely claim submission.

- Manage denials and rework processes to maximize reimbursement and minimize revenue leakage.

- Analyze billing data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost optimization.

- Implement and maintain efficient billing processes and workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare billing regulations and coding updates, ensuring the team operates within legal and ethical frameworks.

- Collaborate effectively with other departments (e. , Admissions, Coding, Finance) to ensure seamless communication and efficient billing processes.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve billing accuracy, reduce claim denials, and accelerate cash flow.

- Monitor key billing metrics and report on billing performance to leadership.

Qualifications

- MBA or equivalent degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

- 3+ years of experience in a healthcare billing management role.

- Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to achieve billing excellence.

- In-depth knowledge of IPD billing processes, coding guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e. , ICD-10, CPT).
