Position: Manager HSE (Health, Safety and environment)
Education: MSc./ BE (from reputed institutes) with degree in HSE management
Experience: Minimum 15 - 20 years of experience out of which minimum 5 years- experience as Head of HSE function in a large capacity Power Plant.
Critical Exposure:
- Min 5 Years- experience in working as HOD HSE in a large sized thermal power station. Having profound knowledge in Safety norms, statutory requirements, and safety audits.
- He should lead a dedicated team efficiently, implement company's safety and environment policy, and promote various HSE activities inside plant.
- Should be compliant with OHSAS 18001/2007 and ISO 14001/ 2004 standards.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Lead a team for implementation of safety procedures in all O&M activities
- Statutory compliance related to HSE
- Implementation of EMS and OHSAS
- Maintaining HSE records for analysis and improvement
- Develop and implement emergency response process.
- Making people aware of the hazards and the dos and don- ts during critical situation through different communication devices like display boards.
- Conducting Safety and environment Audits
- Ensuring compliance to environment norms and standards
- Supervising on-site doctors and implementation of medical emergency response procedure.
- Preparing HSE reports, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance
- Liaison with statutory authorities, external agencies.
- Cost optimisation.
