Our client collaborates with event organizers of trade shows and conferences around the world to become their official engagement app. Past and current clients include UBM, Messe Frankfurt, Messe Munchin, FICCI, HKTDC, among others.
As a Govt. Sales Manager, you will be responsible to drive overall execution, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals.
What you will do:
- Identifying sales opportunities within the government sectors, PSUs and govt contractor markets
- Establishing excellent relationships with customers to enhance sales opportunities
- Preparing proposals, negotiating and closing deals
- Maintaining the development of existing accounts at the highest customer service level
- Solving customer applications and client requests (RFP, RFQ, RFI) in regard to product offerings
- Being able to locate and implement resources successfully to resolve customer issues
- Quoting prices and providing delivery information to customers
- Designing and recommending sales programs and setting short and long-term sales strategies.
- Evaluating and implementing appropriate new sales techniques to increase the department's sales volume.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Acting as advisor to sales team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a thorough knowledge of technology sales.
- Adept at approaching associations (FICCI etc), ministries, PSUs etc.
- Female candidate preferred.
- Flexible to work 6 days a week and moderate local travel
- Excellent presentation skills.
- MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar industry (IT), as an individual contributor and indepth product knowledge
- Exposure to Government Sales.
- Strategic Thinking, Good Leadership and Strong Analytical Skills.
