Education: Masters degree in Commerce/Human Resource Management

- This is a Global role managing Payroll, Employee Reimbursement, Statutory Compliance and various audits

- Hands on Expertise in Managing India Payroll for about 8000+ employees with multiple legal entities, Contractors Payroll etc.,

- Hands on Expertise in Managing US / Europe Payroll with strict adherence towards local timelines

- This role is accountable to ensure pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations

- Liaisoning with various stakeholders internal and external to ensure deliverables are completed on time

Role Accountabilities :

- Hands on experience in Payroll Processing, Tax Calculations, Latest Statutory Updates pertaining to India Payroll

- Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently

- Team Management - Enabling team to achieve their deliverables on time

- Team Management - Mentoring team to stay up to date on the latest payroll updates

- Self Practicing & Mentoring team towards Time Management, Prioritizing Work Deliverables

- Being Sensitive to the Employee Personal Data and maintaining Strict Confidentiality

- Being Sensitive to every employee query

- Collecting, calculating, and entering data in order to maintain and update payroll information.

- Compiling summaries and process payroll as per the earnings, deductions, leave, attendance, and time records, taxes, taxable and non-taxable wages, reimbursement & claims

- Computes employee take-home salary

- Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other earnings/deductions and validation of the same

- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires

- Timely, efficiently and correctly processing the full and final settlement for separated employees

- Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.

- Should be able to process and upload the PF , ESI challans, tax remittance, payment bank upload, processing of Form 16 etc.

- Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.

- Manage changes in pay rates, arrears calculations etc.,

- Ensures compliance with tax laws and best practices.

- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

- Working with key stake holders (Finance, Labour consultant, IT consultant, employees) to achieve the desired output.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Technical Knowledge :

- Extensive knowledge of in house payroll processing

- Proficient with SAP

- Proficient with Excel

- Knowledge of statutory compliance (PF/ESI/P Tax / Income Tax / Gratuity/Form 16 etc.)
