Manager - Fund Marketing & Investor Relations

About the role:

The role offers an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in shaping the firm's marketing efforts. The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of business development, content creation, and strategic planning, collaborating directly with the managing principal/portfolio manager and investment research team to communicate the firm's marketing message to existing and prospective investors. It is a non-investing role, but will entail deep exposure to the firm's investment work, as well as an understanding of India's economy and business landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

- Develop new avenues for marketing, including identifying relevant conferences, speaking engagements, podcasts, and other public relations opportunities

- Maintain the firm's marketing presence on various platforms (LinkedIn, website, etc.) and assist in the creation of engaging content

- Drive lead generation by leveraging databases, conference networking, LinkedIn, and other channels to expand the firm's target audience

- Plan and execute outreach strategies, ensuring the firm is continually engaging with its investor pipeline through innovative and effective channels

Investor Engagement & Research:

- Use CRM software to manage and mine the pipeline of existing and potential investors. Assist in target identification, marketing schedules, content distribution, and engagement management

- Research potential investors' backgrounds, investment philosophies, and preferences to tailor outreach efforts effectively

- Maintain a periodic communication schedule with the investor base, ensuring consistency and relevance in follow-ups and engagement

Qualification:

- Pre MBA or Post MBA experience with premier schools and large management consulting firms preferred.
