Company is hiring an experienced Product sales manager for our Admin sales Business. The product sales manager will be a member of the Executive Team, setting strategy to launch our firm to the next level. This role is responsible for new client generation, broadening our base of referral partners, and increasing our market awareness nationwide. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work with Private Equity, Hedge Fund, AIF ,Compliance, and Financial Oversight teams to create division-specific marketing strategies and execution plans
- Develop a strong pipeline of new customers through direct or indirect customer contact, and prospecting industry referral sources
- Work closely with sales team to develop and execute sales programs, set and manage prospect meetings, assist team in preparing for sales calls and most importantly, close deals
- Prepare and deliver presentation to clients and industry participants as part of the sales process and as part of marketing efforts to increase brand awareness
- Coordinate relationship-building activities with team members, subject matter professionals, and other personnel
- Foster and expand the firm's referral network
- Host and attend industry meetings and conferences
- Use various research tools to identify prospects and lead the Business Development team in prospecting
- Maintain CRM to track prospect activity and status for pipeline status report
- Educate the team on industry events and trends while working with Directors to drive internal referrals
- Organize firm sponsored events
- Achieve weekly sales metrics, including meetings, tracking updates and revenue goals
EDUCATION : Post Graduate/MBA degree in Marketing, Sales, or related Accounting/Finance degree
SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- 8+ years of Business Development & Product Sales experience in the financial services industry
- Solid knowledge of the alternative investments, fund structures, and various financial strategies
- Understanding of Fund Accounting industry
- Proven record of success
- Ability to travel to multiple cities, client sites, and events/conferences
- Frequent and clear communication, both written and verbal
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment
