Manager - Fixed Income Investment - Family Office

Position: Fixed Income Investment Manager (Investments focussed Family Office)

Role:

- Evaluate various investment opportunities in Gsec/SDL/Banks & FI/ Corporate debt/ Debt MF & credit & venture debt funds (understanding the underlying issuers)

- Analyse credit profile of the company, build model to prove that they have sufficient cash flows to service our investments, prepare investment thesis and present it to investment committee

- Negotiate yields with the debt brokers or issuers of the debt instrument and finalizing the term sheet (Tenor, nature of instrument, security, put/call option etc.)

- Participate in co-lending or co-investment opportunities through ARC/credit funds/Venture debt funds/AIF

- Track existing investments & recommend exit line items in case of liquidity requirements of the family

- Continuously in touch with debt market participants (Brokers, Mutual Funds, Banks, Corporates, PDs, or Insurance companies for sourcing of bonds)

- Ensuring that all the fixed income transactions are captured in reporting software

- Closely monitor the credit exposures with review at quarterly intervals

- Review & report fixed income portfolio with various cuts to the Investment committee at quarterly intervals

- Handle the team of analysts

Requirements :

- Qualification: CA/ MBA/CFA

- 6-15 years of work experience, preferably in a mix of credit and fixed income investment/ markets

- Experience in debt Capital market/ credit rating/credit appraisal is a prerequisite. Exposure to analysis of corporate entities across sectors.

- Exposure to Banking & Finance sector is a plus.

- Robust Analytical skills and ability to form a credit opinion.

- Preferably some background in dealing directly with corporates as part of the analytical role. Must possess strong financial analysis skills, including developing forecasts, peer/ industry analysis and ability to identify key drivers for any given issuer.
