Manager - Financial Research - Investment Banking

Looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Investment Banking team based in Gurgaon.

Responsibilities :

- Manage multiple investment banking client teams of varied team sizes from 3 to 10 FTEs

- Responsible for overseeing end to end project management, ensuring highest quality in teams and adding value to client deliverables to ensure high client satisfaction

- Ability to structure complex tasks such as modelling, pitchbooks, IM's and detailed industry studies and also work independently, if required.

- Supporting our clients on multiple industries including TMT, Industrials, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Metal & Mining, Consumer, Retail, Real Estate,Oil & Gas, Financial Sponsor's, FIG

I. Preparing pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, company focused discussion documents related to various industries.

II. Preparing financial analysis including trading/ transaction comparable, operational/ financial benchmarking, etc

- Work with the Technology team and suggest automation initiatives on IB tasks

- Responsible for team hiring, retention, motivation, upskilling team members via training, staffing on projects, etc

- Interacting with key stakeholders on the client side to understand their feedback, provide MIS update and also identify growth opportunities

- Meet project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure "high client satisfaction"

- Conducting quality control check of the outgoing reports / packs

- Other activities include structuring deliverables / teams & developing new capabilities / new research products

- Demonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information / knowledge needs assessment

Required :

- Post-Graduation in Finance (MBA, CFA, CA etc.) or equivalent qualification

- Relevant experience of 6-10 years in investment banking / investment banking offsh

- Front end experience of 2-3 years working on pitches and deal execution in will be an

Leading and delivering projects, including:

- Company profiles and pitch book support

- Macro-economic and industry overviews with experience working across va

- Target identification, Trading and Transaction comps

- Debt comparables, Benchmarking, Peers / target Screening, Newsletters

- Financial modeling, Capital structure analysis, Portfolio screening and analysis

- Ability to handle pressure working in fast paced environment with quick problem solve

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in Client handling

- Working knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Thomson One, Factset, etc.

- MS Office skills - should be excellent in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word
