Position : Manager - Financial Reporting

Reporting to Sr. Manager

job Timing : Five Days Work Company / Shift - 2pm-11pm (Hybrid Model)

General Purpose:

As a key member of the Accounting and Finance department, this financial reporting manager will be reporting to the Controller and is mainly responsible managing all external reporting to creditors and business partners and work closely with the FP&A team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform accounting research and prepare technical memorandums and analysis for new and complex transactions

- Analyze new accounting guidance from FASB and SEC

- Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements and supporting schedules for the audit.

- Assist external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.

- Participate in the development and monitoring of control policies and procedures.

- Practice continuous process improvement across all functions to increase efficiency, automation, and level of customer service.

- Work with internal groups to foresee potential accounting issues and recommend practical solutions associated with contemplated business transactions, including new products and business lines

- Assist in the long-term planning of the ERP and system migrations.

Qualifications

- CA or CPA preferred

- Experience at a top-tier accounting firm

- 5+ years of experience in senior accounting roles which would include relevant technical accounting experience

- Strong understanding of GAAP, FASB codification and pronouncements and SEC reporting requirements, as well as ability to clearly and concisely document and effectively communicate complex accounting and reporting issues
