Objective:

This position works closely with Head- Financial Planning & Analysis and Functional Heads to increase a company's efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plans

- Mortgage business knowledge

- Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools

- Strong quantitative abilities

- High level of commercial acumen

- Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting package

- Strong knowledge of accounting, IND-AS, regulatory framework

- Routinely communicate functions and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications

- Work with Functional Heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts. Present monthly/Quarterly functional data driven financial analysis and identify the causes of unexpected variances

- Building BI tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance Communicate to senior management the reasons behind the product/ function performance and results 5. 8. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on all business units, treasury and support functions/channels (Both cost & profit centre) and identifying levers for performance improvement

- Support productivity and/or cost saving initiatives

- Building profitability models wrt. product, segment, channel, branch etc

- Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations

Candidates preferred from the lending background worked in the areas in Financial Planning, Budgeting & Strategic Management

Experience:

3-5 Years of relevant experience

Qualification: CA or MBA in Finance
