Detailed job description:
1. Financial Operations:
- Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions and financial data entry.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity to support business operations.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
3. Accounting Controls:
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Address any discrepancies or issues identified during audits promptly.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
- Provide support in financial planning and analysis activities.
Expected skill sets:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in finance and accounting.
