Educational Qualifications :
- CA /ICWA/CFA/MBA in finance from top tier university
- 4-6 years of experience
- Financial Planning & Analysis and Management Reporting experience is a must
- Excellent excel skills
Role Description :
- The Primary responsibilities include reporting and forecasting financial statements and key metrics, preparing variance to plan analysis. This role will provide financial support to the management by creating complex financial models that will be used to forecast sales, revenues, costs and influence key decision making. Additionally will support the budget, planning and forecasting activities.
- The ideal candidate would thrive in a fast paced environment, is proactive and intellectually curious, and possesses the aptitude to work independently in ambiguous environments.
- Developing financial operating reports, such as annual/ quarterly plans, quarterly forecasts, periodic reviews and updates. Analyze and interpret plan data and develop commentary to apprise management as to plan status, plan/actual variances, problem areas and potential areas for improvement.
- Responsible for developing budgets and computing variance against budgets
- Support monthly P&L review process by recapping actual results versus plan, preparing monthly variance reports for business owners and analyzing key performance drivers. Present findings to management that focus on month on month changes and key operating metrics and drivers.Support monthly cost allocations/charge-backs and prepare cost allocated monthly P&L.
- Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis across a multitude of business operations,recommending efficiencies and savings or calling out risks or opportunities
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the Company's business
- Routinely communicating company consolidated financial and operational performancetrends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications
- Develops and executes financial planning processes for assigned operations, divisions, or departments
- Leads the long range financial planning process and monitors P&L during monthly financial close
- Provide input for business decisions by producing detailed financial models and P&Ls incorporating assumptions, expectations and known risks
- Prepare presentations and other supporting materials
- Will report to the CFO
