Manager - Financial Operations

Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Reporting:

- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.

- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), financial laws, and regulations.

- Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risk to optimize financial performance.

- Develop and manage the annual budget process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.

Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning:

- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making by senior management.

- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports (e., income statements, balance sheets) to stakeholders.

- Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities.

- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

Process Improvement & Technology:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.

- Leverage technology and financial management tools to streamline financial operations and reporting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in a senior financial management role.

- Proven track record of success in financial operations, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and relevant financial regulations.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in financial management software and tools (e., ERP systems).

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
