Manager - Financial Modelling - Transaction Advisory Services - Big4

We have a job opening with one of our clients in big 4 for Manager - TAS BM (Financial Modelling) - Kochi.

Education : MBA (Finance)

Client Responsibilities :

- Leading a team of financial modellers who are engaged in the development and review of financial models. Managing client relationship with various user offices across MENA region and actively taking part in business development initiatives of the firm.

- Liaising with the onshore team and acting as a single point of contact in project execution and delivery.

- Being responsible for acting as a mentor for 4-8 member team and responsible for their career growth within the firm.

- Understanding the flow of the model and interdependencies between the financial statements and assessing the model for its accuracy, arithmetical and logical flow of items in the model and raising the review observations to ensure quality.

- Performing model builds according to the various requirements of the engagement including feasibility study, valuation model, project finance models, M&A models.

- Handling client queries with respect to the engagement handed by a professional, be equipped to resolve client queries and setting the right expectations, competent to perform high level analytical reviews.

- Flexibility to travel to various user locations in MENA depending on the project requirement.

Desired Skill-sets :

- Thorough understanding of corporate finance, capital budgeting, mergers and acquisitions

- Strong analytical skills

- Knowledge of Accounting standards (IFRS)

- Advanced MS Excel Skills

- Good understanding of capital markets is preferred

- VBA for MS Excel

- Exposure to quantitative analysis

- Exposure to various Analytics tools including Spotfire, Tableau, Alteryx would be preferred

- Good interpersonal and client handling skills with the required aggression in a fast paced competing environment.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Graduates in any discipline with Post-Graduation in MBA/MS in Finance /CFA

- Strong Excel Knowledge with preferred experience in Macros

- 6 - 10 years relevant experience in Financial Modelling with strong experience in model builds.
