Manager -Financial Management
Responsibilities :
Delivery of client work :
- For this role we require candidates to have proven analytical and process skills that can be used to deliver varying types of Financial Management client assignments.
- The ability to work as part of a delivery-oriented team and ensure the submission of high-quality deliverables to clients within deadlines is a must.
Examples of typical work include :
- Definition and/or implementation of an optimal Target operating model that can best support the client's business
- Development of financial strategies that would help the client to improve,enhance, and evolve the finance function's capabilities
- Feasibility study for Shared Services / Outsourcing and/or the respective implementation of the concepts
- Finance benchmarking in terms of finance maturity, cost and productivity information to assess client's performance to the peers and leading practices
Proposal and bid support :
- Individuals will be expected to support the development of proposals and client presentations and competitive bids for new work. This will include undertaking focused research, ongoing liaison and interaction as part of a proposal/bid team and preparation of output to a high standard in PowerPoint and Word.
The position reports to Director - Management Consulting

Experience and Skills :
- Financial management processes in complex organisations
- Strategic planning and budgeting
- Shared Services and/or Outsourcing
- Management reporting and analysis
- Project and program management
- Good working knowledge of the dynamics and trends in any relevant industry sectors (Financial Services, Oil and Gas,Healthcare, Real Estate, Small and Medium Enterprises, Telecommunications and other business services)
- Knowledge of and experience in government and public sector would be advantageous
Other skills/competencies :
- Analytical and process skills that can be used to deliver varying types of client assignment
- Demonstrable success in delivering projects
- Track record of managing and getting the best from teams
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Spoken and written Arabic an advantage
The Individual :
- A minimum of 6-10 years relevant experience in industry and/or consulting in either business services or other industrial sector
Educational Qualification : MBA ( Finance) or Chartered Accountant
- Able to deal with challenging environment and clients. Previous experience in GCC countries an advantage
- Ambitious and capable professional, pursuing a challenging career
- Ready to relocate to Qatar. Travel to client sites may be required
- Energetic, setting and meeting personal and organizational goals,including motivating the team to achieve them
