We are hiring for Manager - Finance & Tax @Mumbai for our client - a leading (with a 20-year heritage of investing in the Indian Capital Markets.) Private Investment Firm.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for managing accounts, tax and compliance of the family office, which includes accurate recording of books of accounts, timely audit and tax optimization, calculation and filing across entities.

- Researching any accounting/tax issues that arise from investment transactions either domestically or global. Collaboration with tax professionals for any complex matters and advice.

- Design, implement and monitor controls over accounting and operations/service team including for banking operations.

- Reasonable knowledge of applicable tax provisions for income of various natures for Individuals, Trusts, Charitable trusts, LLP & Companies.

- Should be able to work with a team and able to coordinate with the team members to get work completed and should have strong Interpersonal relationship management.

- Should have basic knowledge of GST Provisions.

- Responsible for monitoring of cash position and requirements for liquidity for personal expenditures and investment and cash flow needs.

- Any other roles and duties necessary for the management and value creation of the family office in line with the vision, policies and value system of the Family Office.

- Knowledge of Family Trust and Estate Planning would be added advantage however the same is not compulsory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant would be preferred. Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a family office / high-net-worth tax and investment accounting/audit firm.

- Prior experience of working for Family Office would be preferred.

- Should have reasonable knowledge of tax provisions applicable for investments in Overseas, PMS, AIF, PE Fund etc

- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and strong analytical skills

- Good working knowledge of MS office and Tally; a strong affinity for technology and automation.

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, discreet, and trustworthy

- Strong work ethic, demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team player and independently, and possess the flexibility necessary to engage in all functional and administrative aspects of an accounting and service role

- Enthusiastic team player who enjoys both strategic and hands on work

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of stakeholders including family members, external and internal advisors and employees.
