Our client is one of the leading private equity firm based out of Bangalore

Job Description:

Reporting in to the Head, Finance - India:

- The role is a mix of managing fund accounting & being responsible for developing & understanding business models for all the funds of the buy side firm

- Managing all fund accounting operations based on country-specific accounting principles

- Focusing on business modeling & portfolio analysis for all the funds

- Working with a set of team from funds administrator including liaising with auditors, consultants, bankers etc

- Preparing budget and financial forecasts for all the funds

- Oversee taxation matters & tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc

- Presenting periodic reports & investment product decks to the top management

- Ensuring compliance & timely financial regulatory reporting

The Successful Applicant:

- CA 2010 to CA 2015 (Post Qualification Work Experience 4-7 years)

- CA rank-holders (1st Attempt) would definitely have a competitive advantage

- Proven work experience in accounts as well as FP&A, preferably with a buy-side firm/PE fund/AIF or aspiring to build a career with a PE firm

- Thorough knowledge of fund accounting

- Passionate about number crunching & business modeling

- Good business acumen, hands-on experience in excel modeling
