Manager - Financial Planning and Analyst

Role Specification: Financial Planning and Analysis

Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to

- Lead global supply chain planning activity

- Identify critical performance matrices and determine the data needed to monitor

- Identify sources of data and develop tools to extract data in timely manner

- In-depth analysis of data on various operations and cost performance which can be translated into actions

- Develop weekly / monthly dashboard supply chain

- Develop an annual planning process template

- Perform financial analysis of business results and recommend improvement opportunities.

- Provide financial expertise and support due diligence activities for potential acquisitions.

- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting templates. 

- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses.

- Develop and track key performance metrics against the company's strategic objectives.

- Develops annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.

- Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings, analyses, and recommendations.

- Interpret financial data to assist management with strategic decisions.

- Improve the current budget and performance reporting process.

- Develop and implement pricing and profitability tools.

- Monitor, analyze and report on inventory valuation, logistics, and SG&A costs.

- Provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis of business results and performance against budget to facilitate decision-making

- Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses. Required experience, skills and knowledge:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA preferred. 

- Minimum of 5-10 years of financial planning and analysis experience.

- Accounting knowledge and analytical skills along with proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with data query and management tools. Understanding of financial accounting systems, preferably SAP.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to analyze trends and proven skills in analysis and problem-solving.

- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging past paced environment with tight deadlines.

- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.

- Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problems

- Ability to analyze and interpret data and provide insights.

- Financial modeling a plus.

- Computer proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting.

- Ability to extract data from financial systems and manipulate in off-line environments like MS Excel.

- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Highly motivated with a strong bias for delivering results and driving performance.

- Team player with proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
