Manager - Finance Operations - Consumer Goods/FMCG

- Our client is a leading consumer company in the GCC region, looking to hire a Finance Operations Manager based in Muscat, Oman.

- You'll play a crucial role in overseeing the financial activities and operations of the organization. Responsible for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes, compliance with regulations, and the development of financial strategies to support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the finance operations team

- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes

- Responsible for AP/AR and regular accounting and closing.

- Monitor and analyze financial data and performance metrics

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures

- Optimize financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

- Conduct regular financial reporting and analysis

- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making

- Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and other stakeholders

- Identify and address financial risks and opportunities

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management

- Participate in the development of long-term financial strategies

- Lead finance-related projects and initiatives

- Ensure the security and integrity of financial data and systems

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Required Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

- Proven experience in financial management or operations role in a FMCG manufacturing set up

- Strong understanding of financial systems and processes

- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements

- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting

- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively

- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities

- Experience with financial software and tools

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
